When Blaine Higgs graduated with an engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick in the late 1970s, it didn’t take him long to land a job with the company that would be his employer for the next 32 years.

In a world where the only constant is change, there is a growing struggle to maintain accurate contact information on all our friends, family, clients and professional associates. We all move, change our phone numbers and emails, we change careers, get married, some divorce, eventually retire, travel the world and inevitably pass on. Life happens.

Due to the basic time consuming nature of maintaining constantly changing information on all our personal and professional contacts, we don’t always keep up with it. Too often the responsibility of locating our Beneficiaries and Fiduciary contacts is passed on to our personal or professional Executors. Many of us have not realized the nearly impossible burden we are placing on them, and as a result many of our assets, including bank accounts, insurance policies and property go unclaimed, and our estates are charged for the effort.

Having recognized this problem that Executors face around the world, and the resulting loss of security for our loved ones, IDASAP developed a common sense solution that has the potential to not only eliminate the need for all contingency plans put in place to manage the problems associated with not locating our Beneficiary and Fiduciary contacts, but to put an end to the expensive and time consuming locating process all together.
